About Texas Counseling Directory

Where the listings come from

Every listing is built from the public NPI Registry (NPPES), the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System operated by the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. NPPES publishes each provider's name, practice address, phone number and specialty as public data. Texas Counseling Directory republishes that information grouped by city and specialty, and adds nothing to a listing unless the provider asks for it.

Listing here is free and automatic. A listing is not an endorsement. Texas Counseling Directory does not verify licensure, credentials or current availability; confirm a provider's license with the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council before relying on it. Texas Counseling Directory is not affiliated with or endorsed by CMS, NPPES or any licensing board.

Corrections and removal

If a listing is wrong, or you would rather your listing not appear here, email texascounselingdirectory@gmail.com with the address of the listing on this site. Corrections and removals are applied at the next rebuild, normally within a few days, at no charge.

Featured listing terms

• What you get. Your listing appears first in its category and on the home page, with a Featured label and a followed link to your website, for as long as the subscription is active. At most 3 featured practices are shown per category; when every slot is taken, a new featured listing is queued and shown as soon as a slot frees up.
• Price and billing. $49 per month, billed in advance and renewed each month until cancelled.
• Cancelling. Cancel at any time using the link in your receipt, or by emailing texascounselingdirectory@gmail.com. The listing stays featured until the end of the period already paid for, and nothing further is charged.
• Refunds. Any charge is refunded in full on request within 14 days of that charge. After 14 days the paid period runs to its end.
• Activation. Featured placement is applied at the next site rebuild, normally within a few days of payment. If a placement cannot be provided, the charge is refunded in full.
• No guarantee of results. Featured placement changes where a listing appears on this site. It does not guarantee visitors, enquiries or clients.
• Our right to decline. Texas Counseling Directory may decline or end a featured listing that misrepresents a provider or breaks the law, refunding the unused part of the current period.

Privacy

• This site sets no cookies, has no accounts and runs no advertising trackers.
• Pages are served by Cloudflare, which processes connection data such as your IP address to deliver them and to block abuse, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
• If you email us, your message is kept only as long as needed to handle it.
• Payments for featured listings are taken by the payment provider named at checkout, under its own privacy policy. Texas Counseling Directory never sees or stores card details.
• A listed provider may receive a one-time notice, at the business address published for their practice, saying that the listing exists. Replying with the word "unsubscribe" ends all further messages.
